    Was: The on-screen source lines at 1:00 and 7:20 credit the IEA figures to “Energy and AI, 2026”.

    Now: The report is the IEA’s “Key Questions on Energy and AI” (2026). “Energy and AI” is a separate IEA report from 2025.

    Now: They are peak years; NBER dates a recession from the month after a peak. Counting those months instead gives the same result.
