Does Grok Pick Republicans and GPT Pick Democrats?
Every figure shown on screen in this episode, with the document, page and date it comes from, and a label for how strong the evidence is.
In one researcher's test of 479 US races for Congress and governor, OpenAI's GPT-6.1 Sol named the Democrat in 97% of its answers that picked a major-party candidate and xAI's Grok 4.7 named the Republican in 92%, using the developer versions with web search on and a prompt that said not to hedge. The ChatGPT and Grok apps refused the plain question. What the roughly 1,240 hidden tokens xAI adds to each Grok request say is not shown.
